Mass Insight Education (MIE) is a national non-profit organization that designs and implements strategies to transform public schools into high-performance organizations and to close achievement gaps. Since its founding in 1997, MIE has been at the national forefront of education reform. With a focus on district transformation, MIE has helped turn around chronically underperforming schools and introduced new models to drive and sustain bold reforms in urban school districts. Our work to expand access to Advanced Placement math, science and English courses supports nearly 10,000 students annually in Massachusetts, doubling the number of students engaged in more rigorous high school course work with a significant increase in college success for low income and minority students. We are currently launching a student-centered support system in Massachusetts to connect our AP program alumni with our corporate partners to provide them access to summer internships and other career awareness opportunities.
